Amal Mohamed is the Manufacturing Coordinator with Winnipeg Trails Association, helping bike riders get the equipment needed to make shopping by bicycle easier and more convenient. Amal comes with extensive experience in the non-profit sector, having worked with some of the renowned local and international organizations involved in the development, relief, and community development. In the past, Amal worked as an employment facilitator with Immigrant Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. During her work with Immigrant Centre, she assisted hundreds of newcomers to gain employment and develop important life skills and employability skills. Before that, she has worked with Oxfam international and Health Poverty Action among others. Amal is passionate about community development, women and youth empowerment, and business innovation.
