It’s that time of the year again to put those walking shoes on, and join us on our first walking tour of 2015!
The Louise Bridge District walking tour, our new tour, falls in conjunction with Jane’s Walk 2015! Please see enclosed poster for details, also on the Jane’s Walk website http://janeswalk.org/canada/winnipeg/louise-bridge-district/

Where: meeting in the Ernie O’Dowda Memorial Park (Midwinter Ave.) at the west end closer to Disraeli Freeway

Thursday May 7th – Red River Heritage Fair at the University of Winnipeg
Saturday May 9th from 11AM – 5 PM, we will be at the Manitoba Museum celebrating Manitoba Day, a fun filled celebration with free admission at the museum. We will have lots of maps and information at this event.
Saturday June 13th from 11AM – 3PM, we will be at ‘Happy Days on Henderson’
June – TBA – lecture – Gordon Goldsborough – on Manitoba Historical Society, pictorial of historical spaces in rural Manitoba & the program to document historic locations
August – Elmwood Cemetery Tour – summer TBA
We also have a second new walking tour for this year, Bunn’s Creek Walking Tour, a beautiful nature walk sprinkled with bits of history; TBA on this tour.
