FREE Bike Repair Workshop at The Forks on Indigenous People’s Day

Ditibiwabeshkigan nanaa’itoon-daa! (Let’s repair a bicycle!)

Who: You/Any MASRC bike program participant.

When: Friday June 21st 4pm-5pm (Indigenous People’s Day)

Where: Winnipeg Trails at the Forks (SE corner of the Forks Market building. Entrance is off the patio, near the outdoor bar. Look for a big glass atrium with a red carpet beside the WRENCH.)

What:

    • Basic bike repair workshop. Bike assessment. Quick repairs.
    • Navigating Winnipeg’s interesting places by bike.
    • General advice and FAQ.
    • **Special”” Members of Winnipeg Trails’ Indigenous languages team will be offering teachings about bike parts and bike repair action in Anishinaabemowin to anyone interested! Come learn (or share if you know some). One day we want to teach bike repair in all Indigenous languages of Manitoba. Miigwech.

Cost: FREE Courtesy MASRC and Winnipeg Trails
