Details:
Expect a mix of classroom teaching and hands-on skill building. This is an introductory session, perfect for beginners, but also a chance for people with some bicycle repair skills to take their abilities to the next level and ask in depth questions.
This is a volunteer-led workshop, offered by two hosts with extensive background as professional bike mechanics and a lifelong interest in bicycle skill sharing. Anders Swanson and Adrian Alphonso will be your hosts!
You are welcome to bring in your own bike and learn to fix it, if you have one. If you have your own bike repair toolkit too, you are welcome to bring that as well. Otherwise we will be sharing the tools we have and using example bikes that will be provided. Replacement parts for your bike, if needed, are available to purchase.
We are grateful for the support of the MASRC Urban Bike Program communications team and ability to use the space at The Forks
